Nether is scary and dark. Maybe, or maybe not. But I felt that it's not enough scary. And here's what I have done now. The new Nether Haul Texture with better textures, sounds and shaders. All of them make the Nether Biome more than just a minecraft biome. Rather a True Scary hell.
The Renewel
The project was abandoned for over a year now. Not anymore as I have started working on it again. This new version is a complete redesign from scratch. Different textures, shaders, sounds and everything. Furthermore it will recieve regular update to make it better and better. Update frquency: 20-30 days per new version.
The Sounds
Features New ambience sounds for all 5 nether Biomes. These sounds are more haunting than vanilla ones. Along with that it adds new voices and whispers sounds: These sounds play randomly when in the soul sand biome. Total about 18 new sounds. More Sounds and music will be added in future updates.
The Shaders
The heart of the texture are the vibrant visuals shader for Nether Biome specifically. Enhanced over the existing popular Lunac Shaders. The shader gives nether the real horror feel. This includes better lighting, colors, fogs and everything.
The Textures
New Modified textures. As feedback for earlier textures was bad, I completely discarded them and I present new textures. The textures are modified vairents of the vanilla textures to preserve the minecraft feel.
