This addon gives you the relatively old item textures, with items such as foods, emeralds and minecarts changed to the old textures. However, this addon does not change any of the other item and block textures. (I personally do not like the old emerald block and villager's texture). I could not find any other modpacks that allowed me to only change the item textures so here it is!
If you want the full package of old textures there are many modpacks out there that provide it. I would recommend the vintage texture pack, which changes almost all old item's textures, as well as ore block textures and villager clothing.
