## 🔊 7.0 — THE SOUND UPDATE
crimson went from 7 sounds to **23 custom ones**, wired across **32 events**. all made from scratch and tuned dark and punchy to match the pack:
• ⚔️ a **dedicated CRIT sound** — crits used to reuse the normal hit. now you HEAR the crit land
• 🏹 **arrow-hit confirmation** so you know you connected, plus a reworked bow release
• 🧱 **bridging sounds** — wool place/break, wood, stone, glass shatter. short, soft and randomized between 3 variants each, so rushing never turns into noise
• 💥 **explosions** (TNT + fireball) and a 🌀 **ender pearl** whoosh
• 🩸 hurt, item pickup, level-up chime, eating, drinking, armor equip
• 🎧 footsteps left alone on purpose — nobody wants a custom sound 400 times a match
